Dr. Sriram is the founder and chairman of Nayana Eye Care. In 1992 he did his fellowship in Mid Atlantic Retina Consultants and University of West Virginia, USA. He is an accomplished cataract and glaucoma specialist. He is one of the first surgeons in India to perform Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS) way back in 1996.He has performed more than 150,000 cataract surgeries and excels in phacoemulsification. His areas of expertise include Phacoemulsification, glaucoma and refractive errors.
Dr. Sukumaran is a senior and highly experienced ophthalmologist. He did his MBBS from Christian Medical College, Vellore and post graduation in Ophthalmology from Sitapur. Dr. Sukumaran is the Medical Director of Nayana Eye Care. He is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and his areas of interest include refractive errors and infectious ocular diseases.
Dr. Meher is the Managing Director and vitreoretinal surgeon at Nayana Eye Care.He was a visiting fellow at Ospedale San Giuseppe, University of Milan, Italy and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, UK. He did his long term fellowship and later worked as a Consultant in Retina and Vitreous at Aravind Eye Hospital and postgraduate Institute of Ophthalmology, Madurai, India. He excels in Phacoemulsification and Vitreoretinal surgeries. His areas of expertise include complex cataract surgeries, dropped lens management, scleral fixation of IOL, macular hole surgeries and diabetic retinopathy. He has performed more than 40,000 Cataract surgeries and has more than 10 years experience in retina treatment.
Dr. Hasika Ravula is the Clinical director and Corneal Surgeon at Nayana Eye Care. She did her long term fellowship in Cornea at Aravind Eye Hospital and postgraduate Institute of Ophthalmology, Madurai, India. She is a fellow of International Council of Ophthalmology, Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK and holds prestigious FRCS (Glasgow, Uk) degree. She authored a chapter in Microbial Keratitis in the book Peyman’s Principles and Practice of Ophthalmology. She is an experienced corneal and refractive surgeon. Her areas of expertise include Phacoemulsification, refractive surgery, microbial keratitis management, keratoconus management and pterygium surgery with Autograft.
Dr. Ramya is the Joint Director and a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Nayana Eye Care. She was a visiting fellow in Glaucoma at Aravind Eye Hospital and postgraduate Institute of Ophthalmology, Madurai, India. She is a fellow of International Council of Ophthalmology and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK and hold the prestigious FRCS (Glasgow, UK) degree. She did fellowship in Phacoemulsi- ficiation at Narayana Nethralaya, Bengaluru and fellowship in small incission Cataract Surgery at Aravind Eye Hospital, Mudurai. She is a Gold Medalist and stood first in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states for scoring highest marks in MS Ophthalmology in Post Graduation examinations held by NTR University of Health Sciences. Her areas of expertise include Phacoemusilification, Glaucoma diagnosis and management of refractive errors.
Dr. Siva Rama Krishna has been serving as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Nayana Eye Care, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, since November 2023. With a rich background in cornea and cataract surgery, he previously served as a Cornea & Cataract Consultant, managed the cornea clinic and performed over 5000 phacoemulsification surgeries and various corneal surgeries. He completed his Cornea and Comprehensive Ophthalmology Fellowship at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences, Eluru, Andhra Pradesh. He is highly skilled in ocular surface reconstruction, sclerocorneal perforation repair, and refractive surgeries, and actively contributes to clinical research and community ophthalmology while training fellows and residents.
